In contrast to the timeline provided by the company, Underground Printings history actually began in 1992. This is when sixth grader Ryan Gregg and UGP founder Rishi Narayan first got together. They became great friends after playing hundreds of pickup basketball games and breaking a few pairs of glasses, which helped to establish the Underground Printing as we know it today. Ryan and Rishi attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor after high school, but they were not really interested in the engineering courses there. The two had some expertise in small business ownership through his dorm room loft building enterprise. both negative and positive! Enticed by the spirit of entrepreneurship, they continued their quest for a more substantial company endeavor.
