Tenba was created by photographer Robert Weinreb of New York City out of need. Weinreb carried his knit winter caps around his camera lenses while hiking and traveling for a number of years, carrying them in a basic outdoor bag. He had an idea for a shoulder bag that would safeguard cameras internally. His first prototype of a specialist camera bag was created in a sewing shop in the SoHo section of Manhattan. The gritty core of New York, our all times favorite city, is where the Tenba brand was founded and grown. ‌
