Elizabeth has lived a life heavily influenced by fashion. She developed an early fascination with clothes from seeing her mother sew and using the leftover scrap fabric from her own sewing endeavors to outfit her Barbie dolls. Elizabeth eventually decided to follow her passion of fashion design and attended California College of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in 2007. Following her time spent in London, where she interned at the esteemed Pentagram design studio, Elizabeth developed her perspective on design and society while immersing herself in the dynamic European culture. Shortly after graduation, Elizabeth started her first clothing brand, Piece x Piece, to address the apparel and accessories material waste by using sample discards to make unique, handcrafted clothes.
