Kemimoto was formed by five motorcycle enthusiasts. A misplaced bolt was the beginning of it all. For their weekly riding party, they purchased pairs of spotlight side mirrors on a day in early spring of 2011, but sadly, the bolts did not fit. This presented a dilemma, it would be unfortunate to ride without the recently acquired spotlights, but installing them would require making a special journey to get the necessary bolts and sacrificing Friday night. They changed their initial plan and traveled more than fifty miles to a remote warehouse in order to obtain the right bolts since they lack sympathy. Their planned riding party was disrupted by a misplaced small bolt. The five riders made the decision to alter the status quo going forward.
